Frieze Art Fair 2005 - Regent's Park - recycling report

Held in an architect designed marquee, the Frieze Art Fair, in its third year, was able to demonstrate the workings and viability of a sustainable waste management programme, and helped demonstrate the sustainability objectives of The Royal Parks. The success of last years recycling programme was the catalyst for incorporating a recycling programme into the event for 2005.

Environmental Report on proposals for the removal of Pen Ponds Car Park, Richmond Park - final report

This report is an account of a study into the environmental issues surrounding the proposed removal of the Pen Ponds car park and its reversion to parkland. The study was commissioned by the Royal Parks Agency (RPA) in January 2001 and was undertaken by Land Use Consultants.

Holford House Ecological Impact Assessment.

This report is an account of a study of the ecological impact of the proposed proposed sports facility at the site of Holford House in Regent's Park. The study was commissioned by the Royal Parks Agency (RPA) and was undertaken by Land Use Consultants and published in February 2006.

Richmond Park Robin Hood Gate Closure - Final Report - December 2004

A report on the traffic flow impact of closing Richmond Park's Robin Hood Gate. This report was produced by traffic consultants Peter Brett Associates, using traffic counts from the surrounding local councils, Transport for London and from within Richmond Park itself.

Royal Parks Agency - Kensington Gardens Shared Use Trial - Final Report

Two of the main pedestrian paths within Kensington Gardens have been converted on a trial basis to pedestrian/cycle shared use. These are unsegregated and rollerblading is also allowed. The conversion is indicated by signs and painted on symbols.

This report details the results of three user surveys taken shortly before the scheme implementation date of spring 2001, shortly after and 1 year after with the intention of highlighting and quantifying any concerns over the shared use operation.
