CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Pilates - Focuses on enhancing flexibility, core strength and correct posture. The class revolves around mat work that will improve muscular strength, body alignment and balance.

Parent and Pram - Get yourself outside with your pushchair and enjoy a whole body workout in relaxed and welcoming environment.

Yoga - The emphasis is health and well being through breathing exercises, special postures, asanas and concentration to release tension and de-stress the body and mind. Generally we have Hatha yoga here at the Hub.

Mother and Baby Yoga - Includes baby massage, baby yoga and postnatal yoga for mum.

Legs, Bums and Tums - Designed to tone and shape the muscles of the bottom, abdominal and thigh area. Incorporating a variety of standing and floor-based lower limb exercises.

Health Walk - This guided walk is specifically designed for people new to exercise and those with heart, related health problems. The walk takes on a variety of routes throughout The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. It is always a great social occasion, carried out in high spirits with the company of Active Sports Officers.

Running Group - Typically a 4-5km run in/around The Regent's Park for those looking to improve their fitness and running times.

Cardio Blast - Designed to push you for 30-45 minutes with challenging workout stations that include cardiovascular intervals with strength and endurance training.

Circuit Training for people with learning difficulties - a specifically adapted exercise class making exercise enjoyable as well as improving fitness and co-ordination for those with learning difficulties.

Power Walking - Improve your overall health and fitness with this power walk through the park. Lose weight, tone your muscles, strengthen your heart and feel good about yourself.

Boxercise - a high-energy class incorporating the use of punches and aerobic work to improve your physical fitness and body shape. Something a bit different!

Power stretch - Incorporating yoga, pilates and Tai chi moves in a relaxing class to release tension and de-stress your mind as well as beneficial health improvements. A good introduction to pilates or Yoga specific classes.
