Regent's Park is the biggest outdoor sports area in central London. We offer an extensive sports programme that includes football, rugby, cricket and softball. You can hire pitches with changing rooms which makes The Hub an ideal base for many teams.

Winter Sports: (September - April)

• Football -
  • 10 adult pitches
  • 11 mini pitches
  • 1 lacrosse pitch this winter
  • 1 junior pitch for U16 play only
• Rugby - 2 pitches

Summer Sports: (May - August)

• Cricket - 5 adult pitches & 1 junior pitch
• Softball - 17 pitches
• Boules - 2 strips located on Primrose Hill

How to book a sports pitch
To play on our pitches you must book and pay in advance. To enquire about availability or to make a booking please fill out a bookings form (found at the top of this page) and email the form to us. Our facilities are in high demand so please book early! Download the summer price list.

Looking after our pitches
We aim to provide high quality sports pitches to the public and to do so we need to maintain and rest the grass throughout the year at various times. £2.2 million was spent on pitch maintenance so the fees we charge to use the pitches are so that we can continue to maintain them to this high standard. We do not make a profit from the charges so we ask that you respect our policy of keeping off the pitches if you do not have a booking.

Free Play areas
You may see pitches that are not being used, but this doesn't mean they are free to play on. We regularly rest and carry out maintenance work on our pitches to ensure their high quality throughout the year.

Informal games are allowed in non-marked sports pitch areas. You can find these in Gloucester Green, Marylebone Green and Cumberland Green*. There are very little free play areas around the Hub and main sports pitches therefore we ask you not to base your games in this area as you will be asked to move if you play on a sports pitch which you haven't booked.

Adult Sports Leagues at Regent's Park:
There are a number of sporting leagues organised throughout the year. These provide fantastic, well organised and inclusive opportunities for Londoners who wish to play a variety of sports.
