Future plans
The Royal Parks applied for planning permission for a new sports facility in the north west corner of Regent's Park which was turned down in December 2007. There will not be an appeal but it was always our intention to return the site of the former Golf and Tennis School to parkland and this remains our position. We are now reviewing all sports provision within The Royal Parks through the production of a new sports and wellbeing strategy, which is due for completion at the end of the year.
