May is the time of year when the caterpillars of this invasive Moth are on the move. If you come across the caterpillars or their webbed nests please do not touch them and keep children and pets away.

A new toilet block at Roehampton car park is being installed next to the ladies toilet block. This will accommodate the gent's facilities when the old golf course club house is demolished this spring.

The road gates at sheen have now been painted and Roehampton and Kingston gates will soon return from the workshop with Richmond gates being the last to complete later this month.

Mud on roads

The recent de-silting of Pegs Pond in Isabella Plantation required machinery to move around the park roads, resulting in a prolonged period of 'mud on roads' whilst the weather was wet.

Woodland Works

The deer fence in Sidmouth woods is just about complete creating a 10ha enclosure free of deer. This area will now be planted with shrub forming native trees.

Closure of Isabella disabled users car park from 3rd - 25th February

The disabled users car park at the Isabella Plantation will be closed from Monday 3rd February – Monday 25th February due to repair work being carried out.
