Isabella Plantation - How to get there

Public Transport

Richmond Park is 1000 hectares so if you are coming by public transport you should be prepared for a good walk. From Richmond Station, take the 65 bus to Ham Common, walk down Ham Gate Avenue (3/4 mile to Ham Gate), climb up hill to Ham Cross, cross the road and walk down the closed road. Veer right and enter the Isabella Plantation from the Disabled Gate.

For a more gentle walk approach from Putney, take the 85 bus in the direction of Kingston. Alight at Warren Road on Kingston Hill. Cross the road and walk down Ladderstile Ride to the Ladderstile Gate. Cross the perimeter road inside the Park and, using the map follow the "desire" line (marked in yellow on the map) to the Broomfield Hill entrance to the Isabella Plantation.

Car

There is one road circumnavigating Richmond Park. From wherever you enter, travel towards Kingston Gate or Robin Hood Gate. The Broomfield Hill car park which serves the Isabella Plantation is between these two points.
