The Royal Parks have all reopened following the recent weather conditions. Please note some areas within the parks will remain closed as a safety precaution or due to damage.

Staff and contractors have worked hard to open the parks as quickly as possible and keep the disruption to a minimum. Initial estimates show that we have lost around 50 trees from across the parks, from a total of 130,000. We will have a clearer picture when we have carried out a full assessment, which could take a few days. Tree works will continue over the coming days and damage may result in further trees being felled for safety reasons.

We urge park users to apply the usual caution and common sense while remaining branches are being cleared.
