'Inspired Lunacy' arrives in The Royal Parks
Free summer events for children

The Royal Parks is to offer free entertainment for children aged between one and 12 in Regent's Park and Primrose Hill. The activities, which will run from 27 July to 21 August 2009, will include the following:

  • 27-31 July at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm 'The Adrenaline Faeries' will perform in the Primrose Hill Playground. Activities on offer include dance, play, and arts.
  • 3-7 August at 11am, 1pm and 3pm 'Dragon Song' will perform in the Hanover Gate Playground, Regent's Park. Traditional storytelling combining physical theatre and musical instruments.
  • 10-14 August at 11am, 1pm and 3pm 'Charlie the Clown' will perform at Gloucester Green Playground, Regent's Park. Offering a wide range of fun activities, including singing, games and face-painting.
  • 17-21 August at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm 'Inspired Lunacy' will perform at Marylebone Green Playground, Regent's Park. Magic, puppetry and circus antics will all be on offer.

Nick Biddle, Park Manager of Regent's Park, The Royal Parks, said: "Regent's Park has lots to offer the whole family, but we hope that these fun and free activities will encourage even more parents to enjoy the great outdoors with their children this summer."
