5,000 take part in FUSE
Success for Royal Parks Arts Festival
Thousands of people participated in the free FUSE Arts Festival on Sunday 25 July in Kensington Gardens. Organised by The Royal Parks, the popular event gave young people aged 13 to 21 the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, including dance, music, theatre, film, photography and visual arts. 35 of the very best arts organisations from across the capital took part in the festival, including the London Youth Gospel Choir and English National Ballet.
Adam Farrar, Head of Events for The Royal Parks said: The FUSE Arts Festival in Kensington Gardens was a great success and The Royal Parks would like to thank Westminster City Council, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the many organisations that took part and made it possible. FUSE provided thousands of young people with an opportunity to get creative and try something new. We hope that it has inspired many of them to sign up for arts activities in the future and to look for opportunities available in their neighbourhoods.
