Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, Pride in the Park,
Party in the Park to go ahead in Hyde Park
Hyde Park
We are pleased to confirm that the following concerts will be going ahead in Hyde Park.
Bon Jovi (this Saturday 28 June), Shania Twain (Saturday 12 July), the LGBT celebration 'Pride in the Park' (Saturday 26 July) and 'Party in the Park' (Sunday 6 July).
However, The Royal Parks are in urgent negotiation with concert promoters about the separate series of concerts known as the 'Route of Kings' series:
Roxy Music - Wednesday 16 July
Yes - Thursday 17 July
Simply Red - Friday 18 July
Blue - Saturday 19 July
Paul Weller - Sunday 20 July
Jools Holland - Tuesday 22 July
Triple A Entertainment Limited, the original promoter of the 'Route of Kings' concerts, have failed to meet agreed deadlines for the advance payment of event fees. As such it is with huge regret that The Royal Parks has been forced to advise Triple A that they do not have a licence for the Route of Kings concerts.
All those involved in this summer's concerts in Hyde Park are urgently pursuing any and every option that might enable the 'Route of Kings' concerts to go ahead. A final decision will be made very shortly.
Further Information:
A further statement regarding 'Route of Kings' will be issued at a later date.
'Route of Kings' ticket holders seeking further advice should contact their point of purchase.
