Revitalise - A weekend of exercise, nutrition & health advice

Will to winCentral London's biggest open-air sports area Regent's Park - is holding a free weekend of sport, exercise, nutrition and health advice. 'Revitalise' will take place on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July the Royal Parks, with support from Sport England, at the community sports facility The Hub.

This event is aimed at men and women who have been inactive for sometime, and provides plenty fun and safe ways to get gently back into an active, healthy lifestyle.

Activities include Nordic walking, circuit training, as well as short taster sessions in yoga, tai chi and pilates. Personal trainers, professional walking instructors and health and fitness experts will be on hand to give advice and will lead small group sessions across the weekend.

The programme will also be packed with sports which include 8-a-side cricket, touch-rugby, tennis and softball. If you would like to have a go at any of these sports you can pre-register either as an individual or a team.

There will also be a variety of stalls and stands which will offer visitors more information and advice on health and fitness including basic health checks. So get back into health and exercise and join us lots of fun! All activities are free.

The Hub is a spectacular Multi-Sport Community Hub which is a major venue for a range of community and sporting activities. The Hub has fully equipped changing rooms, exercise programmes for yoga and tai chi and a cafe with fantastic panoramic 360 degree views across the sports pitches and the Park. There are also rooms for hire for seminars or training sessions.

Volunteers and local partner organisations are working with the Royal Parks: Will to Win tennis, Rugby Football Union, In2touch, Camden Council, Training Partner, British Softball Federation, Last Man Stands.com, Nordic Walking, The Regent's Park Tennis Centre and Bollywood Groves.
