If you are a news photographer or agency that would like to be positioned on the Queen Victoria Memorial during Trooping the Colour then please contact Katy Murray on kmurray@royalparks.gsi.gov.uk. Please email the following information by Friday 28 May 2010:

• Name of company or publication.
• Full name of the photographer. Publications and agencies that are yet to confirm the name of their photographer should state this in the email. If you are awarded a pass then you will need to confirm the name of the photographer by 1pm on Friday 4 June - no name changes will be allowed after this time.
• Confirmation that you have a valid press / journalist card.
• Full postal address and contact number.

The Queen Victoria Memorial can accommodate 35 non-static photographers. If the volume of applicants exceeds this number then it will not be possible to offer everyone a space. Priority will be given to news and photo agencies on the Royal Rota (15 passes) and to national newspapers (10 passes) - the remaining passes will be allocated through a lucky ballot.

Press passes and details of where and when to gain access to the Queen Victoria Memorial will be sent out by post on Monday 7 June. No access will be given to press who have not been allocated a Royal Parks' press pass and who do not have the correct photo identification.
