IMPROVING RICHMOND PARK GOLF COURSE

Earlier this year Glendale Golf and The Royal Parks submitted a joint planning application to upgrade the Richmond Park Golf Course. The course will be better integrated into the landscape of Richmond Park and will include new planting and habitats for wildlife. Following further feedback from consultees, the application has been withdrawn to increase the chance of success with a revised scheme.

The revised scheme will include a smaller clubhouse and a range of excellent new facilities both on and off the golf course and is due for submission in 2009. Once the revised plans have been developed, there will be a consultation process which will take place before the planning application is submitted.
