Coaches in St. James's Park and Hyde Park

Commercial, public service vehicles and coaches are not permitted on park roads within The Royal Parks unless on official business.

The Royal Parks however recognise the importance of St. James's Park, Hyde Park and their associated buildings as a visitor attraction and thereby permit coaches through St. James's Park and Hyde Park by advance purchase of a drive-through permit.

On purchase of a drive-through permit single-decked coaches are permitted to enter St. James's Park via Admiralty Arch to drive along The Mall and to exit the park via Spur Road into Buckingham Palace Road, or via Constitution Hill to Hyde Park Corner.

Stopping on roads within the Parks is not permitted. Double-decked coaches are not permitted in the Parks.

The cost of a permit is £12 per journey.

Coaches can park at St James's Park for the Changing of the Guard cost is £16.

Sundays the Mall and Constitution Hill is closed to traffic.
