In eight parks, two public gardens and a picturesque cemetery, every day sees thousands of people experience special moments all across London. From enjoying nature, to learning about our past, to attending an exciting event - we're celebrating the best of the Royal Parks with a photo competition.
The rules are simple:
We're accepting entries until midday on Monday 23 April. Please read the full terms and conditions before you enter.
Our parks play a big part in helping people lead healthy lives and get away from the rush of day to day. We want to see photos of people enjoying themselves using the parks as they are intended to be used, whether that’s taking in the sights, exercising, cycling, reading a book or enjoying a picnic with friends.
Please remember to get consent from anyone in the photograph, we will only accept photos with children in them with written consent from the adult responsible for them.
The winner will receive...
Two tickets to one of our family and wellbeing events of your choice, plus lunch for two at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen in Hyde Park.
A huge part of what we do is providing the best possible environment for wildlife in our parks, so that visitors can interact with nature on their doorsteps. We want to see photos celebrating the wide variety of living things we share the parks with.
Please be especially considerate when taking photos of animals and put their wellbeing first. Although many conscientious photographers use a long lens we can’t accept close ups of deer or any of rutting deer. The lens used isn’t clear to the viewer and we don’t want to encourage people to get too close. No photos of feeding the birds either please!
A wonderful chance to learn more about the nature of Richmond Park by spending a morning with one of our Wildlife Officers, followed by lunch for two at the stunning Pembroke Lodge.
We’re really proud of the events we host in the parks. Whether taken from in the crowd at one of our world renowned concerts or enjoying some family time at a community event in one of our education centres, we want to see photos that capture the moment.
Please remember to get consent from anyone in the photograph, we will only accept photos with children in them with written consent from an adult.
Two tickets to see Roger Waters at the fantastic BST Hyde Park, one of the hottest events of the summer.
The history of the Royal Parks goes back hundreds of years and there’s evidence of this everywhere you look. Monuments, unique architecture, vistas, memorials and carefully preserved original features both natural and man-made make each park truly unique. We want to see photos that celebrate our history and heritage and identify them as some of London’s greatest destinations.
Again, please remember to get consent from anyone in the photograph and we will only accept photos with children in them with written consent from an adult.
A VIP pass behind the scenes to Trooping the Colour, the world famous ceremony that dates back to the 17th Century.
