Hedgehog Surveys – The Regent’s Park

What: Hedgehogs are one of the nation’s favourite species, yet there’s been a worrying nationwide decline in hedgehog numbers over the last 25 years. The Regent’s Park is now the only central London Royal Park with a breeding population. Join a team of dedicated hedgehog heroes to survey this important population and help gather the data that inform our plan for improving their habitat.

When: Surveys run for two nights in May and two nights in September.

Who: Suitable for anyone with an interest in hedgehogs and wildlife, no experience required. You must be at least 18 years old (16-18yrs are welcome to join but must be accompanied by a guardian).

How: Please contact the Volunteer Team by email at volunteering@royalparks.org.uk if you would like to register your interest in the September 2019 survey.

You can read more about The Regent’s Park hedgehogs on the webpage in the side menu.
