What: The amazing RP1 bus service has been helping people get from A to B in Richmond Park since 2015. The fully accessible minibus, which is part funded by The National Lottery, and part by TRP donations, enables all visitors to enjoy the wonders of London’s largest Royal Park.

We are looking for volunteers to help run the service and encourage more people to explore this amazing natural space.

When: The bus service runs every Wednesday between Easter and the end of October, and we’re looking for volunteers who can give a whole day once a month (9am to 5pm).

Who: We’re looking for someone with a driving licence, who either already holds a minibus licence or is happy to undertake the test (paid for by TRP).

The role involves speaking to a wide range of visitors so we’re also looking for someone welcoming, engaging and respectful.

The roads in Richmond Park are used by a wide range of people, from cars to cyclists to deer, so we’re also looking for calm, patient and practical drivers who are happy when unpredictable situations arise.
