Volunteer Community Ranger Service - Richmond and Bushy Parks

Recruitment for this role has ended.

What: The Royal Parks are trialling a brand new Volunteer Community Ranger Service. This is an exciting project to enhance visitor experience through increased engagement and information about the parks, their wildlife, heritage and management. By inspiring and educating the public we hope to increase awareness of the key pressures that the parks face and promote responsible behaviours.

When: There will be three full day training days on Saturday 16 February, Saturday 9 March and Saturday 23 March. Following this, we hope volunteers can commit one weekend day per fortnight throughout the peak season (April to October) and additional weekdays if possible. Sessions will normally last from 10am – 3pm.

Who: This opportunity is perfect for someone who is friendly, approachable and passionate about parks and wildlife. We are looking for people who love being outdoors and can remain calm in unexpected situations.
