The LookOut Discovery Centre, Hyde Park boasts a wide variety of resources and habitats to explore, surrounded by 500 acres of wide open green space.

Hidden in a copse of trees, built on an old Victorian reservoir, with bat boxes and a living roof, the centre is truly unique.

Features of The LookOut:

  • Two bright and airy discovery rooms, which hold up to 30 students each. Both spaces open onto a wooden decking area used for outdoor activities during the warmer months. The space can also expand into one large room to accommodate larger groups.
  • A secure garden space, designed carefully for learning outside with a variety of fascinating ecosystems to explore.
  • Interactive whiteboards and digital microscopes that bring children and grown-ups even closer to nature.
  • Accessible to all ages and abilities. Its design includes various Disability Discrimination Act compliant features for people with physical and learning disabilities.
