Spring is coming which means very soon the days will be longer and hopefully sunnier giving you the perfect opportunity to get out in the Royal Parks! There are lots of exciting events and activities that you can be a part of, from yoga in Hyde Park to guided walks, gastronomical experiences and photography masterclasses - there’s something for everyone!
1. Yoga and Raw Food Supper Club
We’re kicking off with a Yoga and Raw Food Supper Club in Hyde Park where you can join us for a session of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, led by Yeotown founder Mercedes Ngoh Sieff, followed by a delectable 3 course vegetarian, raw food feast prepared by Yeotown’s much loved chef Julia Waghorn. The food on the menu will all be gluten, wheat, dairy and sugar free, so you’re going to feel wonderfully energised afterwards too.
2. Photography Masterclass in Hyde Park
Bring yourself and your camera along for a stroll through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens on Sunday 12 April where you’ll be joined by published photographer, Cameron Pearce. He’ll be on hand to help you take your wildlife and landscape photography to the next level by offering expert advice on how to take the best shots and get the most from your camera.
3. Bat walks in Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park
If you’re looking for an alternative evening activity then join our team of experts for a night time guided walk through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park where you’ll get the opportunity to see a variety of different bat species including common pipistrelles, soprano pipistrelles and noctules. We’ll be using bat detectors so that you can hear the bat echo-location calls – pretty cool right?
4. Seasonal Healthy Eating
This is your chance to go on a journey of gastronomic discovery with leading Health Coach Chantal Di Donato! You’ll learn all about healthy eating and nutrition whilst focusing on seasonal foods that are readily available in the springtime. Discover foods that are great for your health, wellbeing and sustaining your energy levels, as well as devising your very own personal menu plan to take away with you so you can keep eating well once you get home too.
5. An Introduction to Mindfulness
Join this inspirational session around mindfulness, a mind-body approach to well-being that can help you change the way you think about experiences and reduce stress and anxiety, which will be led by Yeotown founder Mercedes Ngoh Sieff in the heart of Hyde Park. You’ll learn all the basic techniques of mindfulness meditations, which you can immediately start putting into practice to help you feel more relaxed and positive in your every day life.
