Due to the current severe weather conditions The Royal Parks will be closing Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Richmond Park, Bushy Park, St James's and Green Park early today (23 December). We are currently assessing Greenwich Park and Regent's Park.

* Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens will close vehicle and pedestrian gates by 6pm
* Richmond Park will close vehicle gates and pedestrian gates at 4pm
* Bushy Park will close roads and pedestrian gates at 7pm
* Green Park will close at 10pm
* St James's Park and its roads will close at 10pm

As high winds are expected into this evening and overnight there is a possibility we may need to keep some parks closed tomorrow (24 December) morning subject to an onsite assessment. The parks will reopen as soon as The Royal Parks management and the police are satisfied it is safe to do so.

Closures are a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of all park users including vehicle users and cyclists.
