On behalf of the trustees and staff of The Royal Parks, I would like to send our deepest sympathies to Her Majesty The Queen and other members of The Royal Family, following the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh.

While The Royal Parks will remain open for people as usual, as they have throughout the coronavirus pandemic, there may be some closures in St James’s and Green Parks, including road closures. Information regarding the funeral arrangements for The Duke of Edinburgh will be provided by the Royal Household.

We are reminding everyone to remain socially-distanced from staff and other visitors and to adhere to Government coronavirus guidance and regulations. Please continue to stay safe and look after the health of yourselves and others during this time of national unity.

Loyd Grossman CBE
Chairman of The Royal Parks
