Mission: Invertebrate needs your help to make invertebrates thrive. Whether it’s supporting our roadshows or signing up to be a citizen scientist, volunteering with us is a great way to make a positive impact on London’s wildlife.
There are over 40,000 species of invertebrates in the UK and our parks cover 5,000 acres of London – that’s an area nine times the size of the Olympic Park! People-powered research helps us collect large quantities of data that enable us to identify which species and areas of habitat need our support the most.
Volunteer with us and be part of a team. Become a citizen scientist, working to collect important data for scientific research in our parks, or join our roadshows and help spread the word to families across London.
You don’t need any specialist skills or qualifications to get involved, we’ll show you exactly what to do and how to do it before you start. Sign up and spend time outdoors, meet like-minded people and learn new skills and knowledge, while making a positive impact on London’s wildlife.
