London's NYE Fireworks and celebrations are a ticketed event. For the latest ticket information go to the GLA website. If you don't have a ticket you can still watch all of the action live from the comfort of your own home on BBC1.
If you are planning on coming to London on New Year's Eve please plan ahead. The following closures and restrictions will apply in the Royal Parks:
St James's Park
There will be restricted access to St James's Park on New Year's Eve. All park roads will be closed to through traffic from 2pm. The eastern side of St James's Park will close to the public from 4pm and there will be access restrictions on all remaining footpaths.
Hyde Park and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
If you do not have a ticket to the London NYE Fireworks please avoid the St James's Park area as there will be restrictions in place from 2pm on December 31. Please seek alternative routes when coming to and leaving from Hyde Park and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.
Primrose Hill will close at 1am. Visitors are reminded that lighting personal fireworks and flying lanterns is against Park Regulations, they are also asked to respect the park and be considerate to fellow users.
