Proposed catering kiosk for Primrose Hill

The Royal Parks is considering converting part of the public toilet block at the bottom of Primrose Hill (near Prince Albert Road, and in-between the playground and Trim Trail) into a permanent catering facility.

The new facility will replace the service currently provided by the food truck. It is proposed within the current shelter of the existing building; providing a take-away kiosk facility with internal and external seating serving both the children's playground and the users of the park.

The Royal Parks hope to include modest landscape changes and external seating to the front of the building, facing Primrose Hill. Please see Catering Kiosk Landscape Proposal Options (PDF 3376.33 KB) for more information.

As The Royal Parks create the final planning application, your views are sought on the idea. Please email your comments to the Park Office at by 29 July marking your message “Consultation Feedback”.

It is hoped a formal planning application will be submitted in early August 2016.

Please be aware that a formal consultation period will begin once the planning application has been submitted to the local planning authority. Even if you share your views with The Royal Parks on this current idea, you will still need to respond to the formal consultation if you wish to share your views on the final proposal.
