East-West Cycle Superhighway works commence in Green Park from October

Published Monday 24 October 2016

As part of Transport for London’s (TfL's) East-West Superhighway (CS3), a segregated two-way cycle track is being constructed along the horse ride on Constitution Hill in The Green Park.

TfL begun these works on October 10 2016, and are expected to continue into January 2017. Whilst most works are off carriageway, as the cycle track is being constructed on the existing horse track, the horse track is now closed. Pedestrian and cyclist routes should not be impacted by these works.

Work to be completed includes:

  • Building segregated two-way cycle track
  • Removal of horse ride
  • Resurfacing and kerb improvement work

TfL aim to keep disruption to a minimum, and maintain access where possible, however, we ask all visitors to follow diversion signage when in place.
