Nature lovers wanted for a unique wildlife ‘bioblitz’ day at Hyde Park to uncover the capital’s biodiversity
The Royal Parks charity is hosting a ‘bioblitz’ – a one day nature survey – in Hyde Park to find out how many different species are living in the park so our experts can help better protect them.
On Wednesday 18 April, between 7am and 12pm, there will be path closures across the Parade Ground due to the rehearsal for the upcoming Gun Salute.
Artist Christo will create a temporary sculpture in Hyde Park, London, titled The Mastaba (Project for London, Hyde Park, Serpentine Lake). Construction on the sculpture begins today, 3 April, and it will float on the Serpentine Lake from 18 June
