The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon will be taking place at the weekend (Sunday 9 October) in Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and St James's Park.

The following road and cycle route closure will be in place over the weekend:

Saturday 8 October:

  • South Carriage Drive will be closed all day between Prince of Wales Gate and Queen Mothers Gates for the event build on the Old Football Pitches.

Sunday 9 October:

  • All Hyde Park roads and cycle paths will be closed between midnight and 3:00pm (approx), except South Carriage Drive which will remain closed as usual on Sunday.
  • All St James’s Park and Green Park roads will be closed from 5:00am. Birdcage Walk, Spur Road, Link Road, Horse Guards Road and The Mall from the Duke of York Steps to Admiralty Arch will reopen at 12.30pm (approx). The Mall and Constitution Hill will remain closed as usual on Sunday.
