Isis

Isis, located on the south side of the Serpentine near the Diana Memorial Fountain, is a magnificent bronze sculpture designed by British sculptor Simon Gudgeon.

The sculpture, inspired by the Egyptian goddess of nature, was installed in 2009.

Donated by Halcyon Gallery, the Isis sculpture was the figurehead of an ambitious appeal by The Royal Parks Foundation to raise £2.2 million towards the Royal Parks Foundation Education Centre.

Around the base of the sculpture are 1,000 personally dedicated plaques. The plaques are for those who helped raise vital funds towards the Royal Parks Foundation Education Centre.
