Work to build a temporary Education Centre for the Palace of Westminster will begin in Victoria Tower Gardens in September. The Centre aims to attract thousands of young people to the site where they will be able to learn about the Palace of Westminster whilst in the green surroundings of Victoria Tower Gardens.

The design concept for the new single storey public facility will include planting and a green roof to ensure that the building merges into the perimeter landscape.

The Centre is due to open in summer 2015.
