From Tuesday 23 May 2017 until early July, repair works will be carried out to the boundary walls of Brompton Cemetery.
The repairs will encompass a program of ivy removal and sympathetic repairs concentrating on the southern and eastern boundary walls. Where the ivy is growing over the coping at the top of the wall, it will be cut back to allow for a thorough assessment of its condition prior to any repairs that may be carried out.
Residents of neighbouring properties should be aware that that contractors shall be working at the top of the wall and may be seen working during the normal working hours.
