Greenwich & Docklands International Festival 2023

Free family-friendly street arts, theatre, circus, installations and dance within the grounds of the Old Royal Naval College, Cutty Sark Gardens and Greenwich Park. A much loved 'festival within a festival'.

Hip hop comes to Greenwich Park

A youth takeover and hip-hop day featured South East London’s hottest young musical talent performing on the Greenwich Park bandstand.

We held free workshops and showcased events including spoken word sessions and MC’ing, Hip Hop dance, Parkour and Street Art sessions.

London Climate Action Week 2021

We celebrated London Climate Action Week in the Flower garden, by inviting our younger visitors to get inspired to cut their carbon with little footprint climate pledges, upcycling ideas, seed planting and a cyanotype printing session – harnessing the power of the sun to make prints. We also hosted family-friendly activities at the Wildlife Centre run by our Wildlife Volunteers.

Sounds of the world

The bandstand hosted 'Sounds of the World' - a collaboration between Tramshed & Rhythm Passport to bring critically acclaimed global musicians to Greenwich and share live music with local audiences. Park visitors got into the carnival spirit with an afternoon of Afro-Brazilian music and dances.

Tramshed commedia

As part of our series of cultural events and activities, we hosted a number of free family-friendly outdoor comic shows telling a story of mayhem between Italian masters and their lovestruck teenagers, with their helpful servants adding to the chaos!
