Greenwich Park Archaeology Welcome Day
Key information
Explore the history of Greenwich Park!
Bring your curiosity to our August ‘Welcome Day’ at the Greenwich Park Learning Centre – focused on the history and archaeology of Greenwich Park!
Throughout the day, visitors will learn more about the most recent archaeological discoveries at Greenwich Park and uncover what objects can tell us about the people who have been here before!
Plus, there will be a range of activities on offer – try your hand at an archaeological excavation, handle artefacts found in the park and chat with experts about their research.
This event is running alongside the Council for British Archaeology’s annual Festival of Archaeology. Further details are to be announced.
