Bushy Park Playground

Published Wednesday 28 March 2018

Our playground at Bushy Park has proved a very popular since it was redeveloped in 2012 and attracts thousands of visitors every year. The volume of visitors naturally results in wear and tear to the landscape and means we have to re-turf grassed areas regularly.

Re-turfing was carried out earlier in the year but poor weather conditions has meant that we are still waiting for the turf to take before re-opening these re-turfed area.

Additionally, a new slide has been ordered for which we are waiting on delivery. Until this new slide is delivered and installed we are sorry to advise that the old slide is not in use.

Many areas of the playground remain open but please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in re-opening our entire facility. We are working to do so as soon as possible and will issue further updates in due course.

Thank you for your continuing patience.
