Public notice: Following the advice from the Prime Minister to avoid all unnecessary social contact due to COVID-19, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel all community events through to the end of April. Please ensure you check our updates page for the very latest information about park closures and access to facilities.

New online resources and ideas for play at home will be added to the site soon.

Looking to the future, please remember to sign up to our events newsletter to hear about future Royal Parks events and details of when they will be restarted.

Play in the Park is a new project to help inspire local families and communities with nature and outdoor play in and around two Royal Parks playgrounds: Greenwich Park playground and Gloucester Gate playground in The Regent’s Park.

Play in the Park brings a free programme of fun and creative activities and events inspired by the parks’ wildlife and open spaces. This three-year project is funded by the London Marathon Charitable Trust in partnership with The Royal Parks.
