Connect with nature, and learn about the park environment and wildlife with hands-on practical activities in Greenwich Park. Working in partnership with the Field Studies Council, we offer a wide range of outdoor learning for all ages.

Activities and courses include:

  • School visits, from early years to A-level
  • Family activities including pond dipping, bug hunts and bat walks
  • Natural history courses
  • Arts courses

The Wildlife Centre in the flower gardens of the park includes a classroom, kitchenette and toilets. The classroom has one-way glass, so you can get close-up views of the deer and wildlife.

There is private access to a nature trail with a pond and woodland area, and an additional hide classroom, overlooking a deer-feeding point.

Thanks to The Friends of Greenwich Park for their support in creating the Wildlife Centre and to Artemis, one of our corporate supporters, for their help in caring for the deer hide.
