Free minibus service in Richmond Park

Public notice: The Free Minibus Service RP1 in Richmond Park will recommence on Wednesday 20th April 2022 and run every Wednesday until Wednesday 26th October 2022.

A free transport service to help visitors get better access to Richmond Park and in particular Isabella Plantation.

The free service will operate every Wednesday, from 9:40am until 4:10pm. The minibus with disabled access, runs between all the Richmond Park car parks, Ladderstile Gate, Richmond Gate, Pembroke Lodge and Isabella Plantation. The service starts and finishes at the barrier in Danebury Avenue on the Roehampton Estate and also goes to Ham, Ashburnham Road (371 bus stop and Ham Common, Ham Gate Avenue (near to 65 bus stop). The service route will vary from previous years, due to road closures within the Park

The minibus is free and fully accessible with a ramp and steps to aid access. Wheelchair users wishing to use the service should contact Malcolm Childs, in advance of visiting, by emailing mrmrchilds9@gmail.com or calling 07814 988 337.

We are delighted to support this service, which has been funded by part of a grant from The National lottery, as well as donations to the Royal parks, as it allows those without access to the park to enjoy the wonders of London’s largest Royal Park.

Please note: Passengers will note it is no longer a TFL requirement to wear Face Masks on London Buses. In future this will be left to passenger’s discretion.
