Hyde Park Nursery Walking Tour
Key information
Friday 25 September, 2 October & 9 October, 3pm - 4:30pm
Step behind the scenes of the Hyde Park Nursery on this guided walking tour of a working plant nursery—an area not usually open to the public.
- This tour offers a rare opportunity to explore where almost half a million plants are grown each year to keep the Royal Parks in flower.
- You’ll learn about the nursery’s history, its state of the art building, and the environmentally responsible growing practices used to raise more than 900 different varieties of plants.
- As you move through the site, you’ll gain insight into the seasonal work that keeps the Royal Parks blooming year-round, from propagation to planting schemes across London’s green spaces.
Please note:
- Designed for adult attendees, over 18 years of age.
- We want everyone to be able to enjoy our events and to connect with nature and London’s rich history. To help people who might find cost or other challenges a barrier, we offer £3 tickets for those receiving Universal Credit or Pension Credit. Click Book Now above for details of how to book. For further information please call 0300 304 9910 or email publicprogrammes@royalparks.org.uk.
