From Monday 29 February the eastern side shared use footpath will be closed for works until the end of April. When complete, this footpath will become a pedestrian only path. The western side footpath and connecting gates will remain open.
During the TfL Cycle Superhighway works on West Carriage Drive, northbound traffic has been temporarily closed whilst the new fully segregated cycle route is being created.
Dismounting and walking your bike northbound is a great way to considerately share this route with other park users. Cycling northbound, both on the road or the footpath, is illegal and may result in a £60 penalty fine if caught by the police.
Please keep an eye out for updated route signage within the parks, The Royal Parks website for latest news or TfL’s website for travel advice during this works period.
