From Tuesday 9 February, works will begin at the junction of Duke Wellington Place and Constitution Hill for up to six weeks to facilitate the construction of the Transport for London (TfL) Cycle Superhighway.
Constitution Hill will be temporarily closed to eastbound vehicles and diversion routes will be clearly signed. The dedicated left-turn into Constitution Hill from Duke of Wellington Place will be removed – this change is permanent. Some lane reductions will also apply around Duke of Wellington Place.
This closure will be from 8pm-5am on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 February; full closure from Thursday 11 February 8pm until 13 March 2016.
There will also be works on Great George Street* from Saturday 13 February for seven weeks.
Great George Street will be temporarily closed to all westbound traffic. There will be no exit from Parliament Square into Great George Street until Saturday 19 March. The closure will then change direction on 19 March to all eastbound traffic. No entry to Parliament Square from Great George Street until Friday 25 March.
