Update: Sunday 9 February. 20:30.
Safety checks will be carried out at first light (on Monday 10 February) and any debris, including twigs, branches and fallen trees, from Storm Ciara will be cleared from roads and pedestrian routes. As a result the following parks and associated roads may open later than usual on Monday 10 February: Green Park, Greenwich Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park, Victoria Tower Gardens and Brompton Cemetery.
Due to the size of Bushy and Richmond Parks (the two largest Royal Parks) safety checks and clearance will take longer, and we expect these parks to open last. Any changes will be communicated via this website and twitter @theroyalparks.
Please do not travel to any of the Royal Parks tomorrow without checking they are open first. The safety of our park users is our priority and we thank you for your patience.
