Brompton Cemetery for school groups

Brompton Cemetery offers a unique, thought-provoking location for a school visit. Over 200,000 people lie in peace here, their lives commemorated with spectacular memorials – from grieving angels and ivy-clad crosses to ornate mausoleums and imposing columns.

Amidst these gothic monuments, the cemetery is teeming with life. Among its lime trees and wildflowers, your group will spot an abundance of wildlife. Birds, butterflies, bats and beetles all call Brompton Cemetery home.

Our expert Learning team offer hands-on sessions in the Cemetery, on topics including habitats, plants, sustainability, maps and orienteering. Please see a full listing below.
