Terms and conditions for The Hub sports facility

In consideration of you paying the hire cost (‘Charges’), TRP (‘TRP’, ‘Hub Staff’, ‘us’, ‘we’, 
‘our’) make the sports pitches, changing rooms, function rooms, Cafe and hire equipment 
available to you strictly subject to these Terms and Conditions.

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

• Payment must be made in full 2 weeks prior to your booking or immediately after 
invoicing whichever date is first;
• Payment to be made online using the link on the invoice;
• After invoicing each subsequent alteration is subject to a £25 administration charge;
• Bookings wishing to cancel or reschedule are required to give at least 30 days’ written 
notice prior to the booking date to be eligible for a refund or reschedule otherwise all
charges will be retained by us;
• Bookings are final following invoice payment. Partial refunds after payment are not 
permitted (e.g. request removal of equipment or changing rooms);
• TRP reserve the right to cancel any booking and cannot undertake to give prior notice. If 
TRP deem the sports pitches unplayable a full refund will be granted;
• It is your responsibility to check your booking is going ahead during adverse weather.
You are advised to telephone 0300 061 2324 after 9.00am on the day of your booking to
confirm the pitch is useable.

USE OF THE PITCHES, CHANGING ROOMS, FUNCTION ROOMS AND HUB CAFE

• You are only permitted to access the pitches and facilities during the period of hire;
• A £20 returnable deposit is required to use The Hub’s hire equipment. All hired equipment 
is to be collected and returned to The Hub desk. Late (15 minutes or more), damaged or 
no return of any hire equipment will forfeit the deposit in full;

BEHAVIOUR

• The Royal Parks will not tolerate rude or abusive language or behaviour or the threat or 
use of violence towards its staff or other Park users. Any individuals (team members and 
any associated individuals inc. spectators and opposition) demonstrating the 
aforementioned behaviour will be excluded from using the Park’s facilities;

CONDITIONS FOR USE OF FACILITIES

• You will indemnify TRP against all claims, proceedings, damages, costs, expenses and loss 
in respect of personal injury (including death) or loss of or damage to property arising 
from your use of the Park save insofar as such injury, loss or damage is reasonably 
attributable to TRP, its servants, agents or licensees;
• You are fully responsible for any and all items brought into The Hub and The Regent’s Park 
by you, your team, opponents and guests and The Royal Parks shall have no liability for 
such items or any such property and/or possessions belonging to you, your team, 
opponents or guests;
• It is your responsibility to ensure the pitch, room and any equipment (e.g. tables, 
benches) are of sufficient standard to be of no danger to anyone and that any defects 
are reported to a member of Hub staff immediately;
• Any damage to TRP’ property is made good to TRP’ satisfaction;
• Bookings must conform with Park Regulations. Attention is drawn to the regulation under 
which any person leaving paper or dropping litter of any kind in the Park is liable to 
prosecution;
• Bookings are responsible for all first aid provision throughout the entirety of your stay within 
TRP;
• Failure to observe and comply with any or all of these Terms may result in the 
cancellation of current and/or future bookings

make the summer sports pitches available to you strictly subject to these Terms and Conditions.

• When making a block booking (3 or more related bookings) only weather cancellations made by TRP 
will be refundable. Any cancellations made by the customer following either email confirmation or
invoicing are non-refundable;
• Bookings are non-transferable;
• The Royal Parks reserve the right to cancel any booking and cannot undertake to give prior notice. If 
The Royal Parks deem the sports pitches unplayable a full refund will be granted;
• It is your responsibility to check your booking is going ahead during adverse weather. You are advised 
to telephone 0300 061 2324 after 9.00am on the day of your booking to confirm the pitch is useable.

USE OF THE PITCHES

• You and your team are permitted to access the pitch during the period of hire only;
• A maximum of 22 players are allowed on a cricket pitch at any one time. A maximum of 12 players are 
allowed on a touch rugby pitch at any one time. A maximum of 20 players are allowed on the softball / 
rounders pitch at any one time;
• No tournaments or events are permitted without prior approval from TRP;
• No cricket spikes should be worn by any person using the non turf cricket pitches – NTPs - (with the 
exception of cricket pitches 3 and 4) or cricket nets;
• Only spring-back or rubber-based stumps should be used on the NTPs and cricket nets; 
• A £20 returnable deposit is required to use The Hub’s hire equipment. All hired equipment is to be 
collected and returned to The Hub desk. Late (15 minutes or more), damaged or no return of any hire 
equipment will forfeit the deposit in full;
• Instructions of The Hub staff should be always followed.

player and that any defects are reported to a member of Hub staff immediately. Although the pitches 
are checked at regular intervals damage may be caused minutes prior to your arrival;
c) You are fully responsible for all items brought into The Hub and The Regent’s Park by you, your team, 
opponents and guests and The Royal Parks shall have no liability for such items or any such property 
and/or possessions belonging to you, your team, opponents or guests;
d) Any damage to The Royal Parks’ property is made good to The Royal Parks’ satisfaction;
e) Players must conform with Park Regulations. Attention is drawn to the regulation under which any person

f) Bookings are responsible for all 1st aid provision throughout the entirety of your stay within The Royal 
Parks;
