Experience the parks in bloom
One of the highlights of springtime in London's eight Royal Parks is seeing the landscapes burst into colour with flowering plants.
From snowdrops and crocuses at the start of spring to stunning daffodils, tulips and cherry blossom as the season continues, expect to see a range of bloomin' beautiful blooms on your visits in the coming months. There is plenty to see for those looking to immerse themselves in nature's beauty.
Getting creative
As part of our exciting Artist in Residence project at Greenwich Park, The Royal Parks charity and leading art organisation, UP Projects are working with artist Leah Clements to deliver a series of ‘open studio’ sessions from February until June.
Drop by to meet the artist, explore the studio and see her current work, and learn what is coming next for the project. These sessions are free drop-in sessions, and open to all.

Wonderful walking tours
Join us in St. James's Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens for our guided walking tours, led by our expert volunteers.
You'll discover the long-lost stories, Royal history and wonderful wildlife that make these green spaces so special. Plus, you'll gain exclusive access to areas not usually open to the public, including the Hyde Park Pet Cemetery.

Run the 2026 Royal Parks Half Marathon
With spring just around the corner, there’s no better time to start training for the 2026 Royal Parks Half Marathon. Lace up your running shoes, make the most of the longer days, and get a feel for the stunning route ahead.
We’ve got guaranteed Royal Parks Half Marathon places for supporters who want to run and fundraise for the parks they love.
It’s just £35 to register and with a fundraising target of £350, you’ll make an amazing difference to your favourite park and nature across London.
Go behind the scenes
Step inside the Hyde Park Plant Nursery for a rare, behind-the-scenes experience not usually open to the public. This exclusive day offers a unique opportunity to explore the working nursery that grows and supplies over 500,000 plants each year to six of the Royal Parks.
Led by the nursery team, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the site, learning about the nursery’s history, its sustainable building, and the environmentally responsible growing practices that support more than 900 varieties of plants.
You'll also take part in a hands-on horticultural session, create your own hanging basket and enjoy a fresh, seasonal lunch.

Learn to play tennis and padel
With brighter evenings and warmer weather on the way, we’re here to help you pick up your racket and get active with tennis and padel at The Courts in Hyde Park, The Regent’s Park and Greenwich Park.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already a regular player, we offer a wide range of coaching activities suitable for all ages and skill levels.
This spring, we’re running evening courses, weekend classes and fun-packed Easter holiday camps, giving you plenty of ways to get outdoors and stay active.

Join us this Easter holidays at our Discovery Days (Spring Surprises, Marvellous Mammals) and Nature Roadshows for free drop-in activities, games, nature trails, dress up and storytelling to celebrate spring.
Packed full of fun for all the family, they are the perfect opportunity for you and your children to connect with nature together! These events are totally free, just drop-in from 11am-3pm to join in on the fun.
