Curious to know how we grow fruits and vegetables in Greenwich Park?
Join us to learn fun facts through our ‘fruit salad tree trail’, get expert gardening and composting tips from our horticultural team and take something away to make your home more green.
Throughout the day, members of the Royal Parks team and the wonderful volunteers who help to look after the Queen’s Orchard will be running a range of different activities for people of all ages:
- Learn fantastic fruit tree facts through our ‘fruit salad tree traill
- Get expert gardening tips from Greenwich Park’s Head Gardener
- Explore how we make and use our own compost
- And - even take something away to add more ‘green’ to your home!
Location: The Queen’s Orchard, next to Greenwich Park Playground (what3words: neat.stump.grape)
This event is being delivered as part of the Urban Tree Festival, and activities are being run with support from the Friends of Greenwich Park.
