Nursery Experience

Step inside the Hyde Park plant nursery for a rare, behind-the-scenes experience not usually open to the public. This exclusive day offers a unique opportunity to explore the working nursery that grows and supplies over 500,000 plants each year to six of the Royal Parks.

• Led by the nursery team, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the site, learning about the nursery’s history, its sustainable building, and the environmentally responsible growing practices that support more than 900 varieties of plants. With a small group size, there will be plenty of time to ask questions and engage directly with the experts!
• You’ll then take part in a hands-on horticultural session, learning practical propagation and seed-planting techniques used by Royal Parks growers.
• Tea and morning refreshments will be provided, followed by a seasonal lunch, giving you time to relax and chat with fellow participants.
• In the afternoon, you’ll create your own hanging basket, inspired by those displayed across the Royal Parks, guided by experienced horticultural staff. Your finished basket is yours to take home and enjoy.
